Nestroyana is co-edited by W. E. Yates (Exeter) and Ulrike Tanzer (Salzburg). Yates writes: '[the journal] publishes articles and book reviews
in German not only on the life and work of Nestroy and on his sources, critical reception and important
influence on later writers but also on the history of the Viennese commercial theatres, their cultural context
– including international links and comparisons – and the wider satirical tradition to the present day.'
Note: articles are peer-reviewed, and contributors are not limited to members of the Internationale Nestroy-Gesellschaft.
